Subject: So good to be back!
Subject: So good to be back!
After the Summer Sessions '99 shows I was wondering how often Phil would tour. '00 gave me that answer. I really liked this lineup of P&F, despite the fact that Robben Ford seemed uncomfortable some of the time. (Great player, but didn't seem to 'get it' to me.)
Anyway - I loved this show! 'In Your Eyes' for me was a perfect 'Statement of Intent' from Phil. He was back, and meant to Bring It. The newly re-arranged Terrapin blew me a way. I don't think I've ever had so much fun before. ("Never had such a good time!" Anyway, fun to revisit this show 12 years later.
